At night this versatile yet simple altazimuth mount tracks astronomical targets up to 60-deg above the horizon. Just point your telescope at the object and TeleTrack keeps it centered in the eyepiece until you're ready to move on. During the day TeleTrack's dual-axis motors provide smooth control for spotting scopes or cameras. It even cruises to six stored locations for surveillance or automated photography (with cameras that have a standard electronic shutter release). Includes mount with 1/4"-20 threaded post, hand controller, adjustable tripod, and camera control cable. The TeleTrack is designed for optical tubes up to 15" long and 8.8 lbs or less. It operates with an external 12-volt power source such as the Orion Dynamo Pro (#2307), or you can use eight AA alkaline batteries (not included). An optional AC adapter is also available.
